Olaf Kolzig TTM

Received 1/31/11
Great success from one of my favorite goalies of the last decade. He also has one of my top ten favorite goalie mask of all time. Kolzig took surprisingly 5 or 6 months to sign these cards through his house. I have seen a lot faster results from him though.

Show And Tell: 2011 NHL All Stars Part 1

I fugured I would do another Show and Tell in honor of the NHL All Star Game. I have three signed 8x10s to show you of Patrick Kane, Henrik Sedin, and Tyler Ennis who is playing in the All Rookie game and the skills competion. I got the Patrick Kane 8x10 and the Tyler Ennis 8x10m on the same day. Me and my buddy Joe got to do down in like the locker room and get autographs from both the Sabres and Blackhawks. I got the Henrik Sedin 8x10 for Christmas from frozenpond.com.

Show and Tell: 2011 NHL All Stars Pt.2

It has been a really slow week so I figured I would do another Show and Tell in honor of the NHL All Star Game. Cards signed by Claude Giroux, David Backes, Dan Boyle, Keith Yandle, Rick Nash, Patrick Sharp, Martin St. Louis, Johanthan Toews, Dustin Byfuglien, Steven Stamkos, Anze Kopitar, Daniel Briere, Jonas Hiller. The 4x6's are Duncan Keith and Zdeno Chara.

Show and Tell: Keith Yandle TTM

This is one I got and sent out during the offseason. Yandle is having a terrific season this year in Phoenix and is being rewarded by going to Raleigh in the 2011 NHL All Star Game. He is replacing the injured Tobias Enstrom from the Atlanta Thrashers. He signed 2/2 from his home and the took about 3 weeks. Kind of sucks that he signed them in pen, but hey, what are you gonna do!

Brett Hull TTM

Received 1/24/11

First off, yes Brett Hull is a cheater and doesn't deserve a cup ring but he was nice enough to sign my items twice. I got the 4x6 back in August when I thought my cards were goners, but they weren't! Everything is singed beautifully in blue sharpie. The 4x6 was sent to his home and only took a couple of months. The cards were sent to the Dallas Stars and they took about 1 year.

Al MacInnis TTM

Received 1/22/11

Wow! I have tried several different addresses for Al MacInnis and final I got a success! I believe he had the fastest shot in the league until a guy named Zdeno Chara came around. Another Hall of Famer and another Parkhurst card. He signed 1/1 through a PO Box.

Marcel Pronovost TTM

Received 1/22/11

Another one for my Parkhurst set! Great success from a NHL Hall of Famer. He signed it perfectly in thin blue sharpie. He signed 1/1 through his house.

Paul Ranger Auto

I pulled this one out of a pack on 1/22/11. They had this thing for like $15 where you get 1 autographed card plus 4 other packs. Not bad for only 15 bucks.

Show and Tell: Kyle Turris TTM

I got these back in September or October and they both turned out really nice. Turris is having a pretty good season so far this year for the Coyotes. Mr. Turris signed and personalized both of my index cards I used to protect the card as well! Turris signed 4/2 in about a couple of months c/o Home.

Ryan Smyth TTM

Received 1/18/11

Smyth was the man back in the early 2000's when he was on the Oilers. He is having a pretty good career now in LA. He is on a good team and I'm sure they will have a good playoff run. This one took like 6 or 7 months because it came back with a different stamp on it. He signed 1/1 c/o Los Angeles Kings.

Andy Bathgate TTM

Great success from a NHL HOF'er. Great signature on my Parkhurst card. Mr. Bathgate signed 1/1 c/o Home in about 1 month.

Jhonas Enroth TTM

Received 1/12/11

Another one for my Score set. Enroth will most likely be our back up next year because I don't think we will sign Lalime for another year. He is a nice guy but he is just getting a little old. Jhonas signed my card in about 2 1/2 weeks c/o Portland Pirates (Sabres AHL team).

Show and Tell: Jay Bouwmeester TTM

The one who started it all! Yep, this is the first TTM I got back from a player in the NHL. The coolest thing about it is that I didn't put a SASE (self addressed stamped envelope) on it so Mr. Bouwmeester paid for all the postage himself. Anze Kopitar also did the same thing for me and my buddy Joe. I sent this to him back when he was on the Panthers but I'm sure he signs now through the Calgary Flames. Really tiny signature too!

George Parros TTM

Received 1/8/11

This is defiantly the longest wait I have ever had on a TTM request. This is one of the first TTM requests I have ever sent out so it had to have took at least 1 full year. Parros isn't known for scoring goals, but he does fight alot and has one of the sweetest moustaches I have ever seen. Parros signed 2/2 c/o Anaheim Ducks.

Chris Pronger TTM

Received 1/6/11

This is my second success from Mr. Pronger. He is a great player an also a great TTM signer. Pronger is one of the best d-men in the NHL and he signed 1/1 c/o Home in about 2 weeks.

Dale Hunter TTM

Received 1/5/11

Great success from the Washington Capitals legend. Hunter is most remembered by blind siding Pierre Turgeon after he scored a goal. Hunter signed 1/1 c/o London Knights which is where he now coaches.

Show and Tell: Jimmy Howard TTM

I got this one on May 26th, 2010. Jimmy is now one of the top goaltenders in the National Hockey League and was a runner up last year for the Calder Trophy (rookie of the year). Jimmy is a great signer and signed 1/1 c/o Red Wings.

Buffalo Sabres Hounding

Me and my buddy Joe went to HSBC Arena on New Years day not only to witness an awesome hockey game, but went to morning skate to score some autographs. I'm trying to complete my Sabres 2010/2011 Score set and I figured this was the best time to do it, I thought wrong. Most of the players didn't stop and we left early due to rain. We did manage to pick up sigs from Ryan Miller, Tyler Myers and Tyler Ennis. Jordan Leopold and Mike Weber also stopped but we didn't have anything for them to sin. Luke Adam also was in Tyler Myers and Ennis' car. We also went to the game that night and saw a 7-6 shootout win against the Bruins! I know he signed my stuff a week prior but I still booed him when ever he touched the puck along with the rest of HSBC Arena.
